After you have had your breast augmentation, our helpful staff will remain in contact with you to ensure a normal breast augmentation recovery and to answer any questions that may arise. When you arrive back at home after surgery, feel free to walk around your house, but avoid any straining or lifting.
Expect to have some degree of soreness or chest pressure for at least the first couple of days during breast augmentation recovery. We do ask that you sleep on your back and avoid sleeping on your sides or stomach while the breasts are settling into their new position. Medication will be prescribed to minimize discomfort during this time.
For more details about breast augmentation recovery, please contact plastic surgeon Dr. Amélie Bourget at our office, located just a 20-minute drive from the city of Montreal.
